Naomi Andrews only candidate with actual D.C. legislative experience
To The Daily Sun,
I watched the Democratic debate and decided that the candidate best suited to represent us in N.H. CD1 is Naomi Andrews.
Naomi is the only candidate who has congressional experience and knows how to get things done in Washington for the people of N.H. Neither Chris Pappas nor Maura Sullivan has been involved in creating policy at the federal level. Chris has some experience at the state level, and Maura has brief experience working in public affairs (press, not policy) for the VA and Department of Defense.
In contrast, as Shea-Porter’s Chief of Staff, Naomi has had extensive decade-long experience with congressional legislative process and national issues, having been part of the team that worked on important legislation, including the Affordable Care Act, getting N.H. more federal funding to combat the opioid crisis, and getting a health impact study funded for the perfuorinated chemical contamination at Pease and across the country.
In addition, once the primary is over, the candidate must win a federal campaign in a Republican district. Naomi led two of Carol Shea-Porter’s four successful campaigns in this district. No other candidate has been involved in a national-level campaign, and there are some, like Maura, who have never run for any office.
With so much at stake, do we really want a rookie representing us in Washington? Please join me in voting for Naomi Andrews on Sept 11.
