Letter: Andrews Understands the Needs of N.H.
We live in a tumultuous time. Our government has become a political circus, where common sense is often disregarded. Rather than become cynical or throw my hands up in disgust, although I do that too, I often think about how I can make a difference.
The answer recently became clear – get involved in supporting a candidate who truly knows and cares about the people of New Hampshire. Naomi Andrews is the candidate we want to represent us in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Naomi, unlike some of her competitors, grew up a New Hampshire resident in District 1. She came from a working class family, put herself through college and law school, and has worked tirelessly in public service for the majority of her career. Her vote in Congress will not be swayed by big business, as she has vowed, as Carol Shea Porter did, to not take corporate PAC dollars, and to advocate for campaign finance reform.
Andrews is a proud product of the Epping School District, and is a stanch supporter of teachers and public education. She has vowed to fight for safe schools, equitable education for all students, and support for our teachers and administrators. If elected, she will request to join the Education & Workforce Committee to positively impact education in our state. Naomi will fight for the children and teachers of New Hampshire.
Please join me on Sept. 11 in voting for Naomi Andrews for Congress. New Hampshire needs Naomi.
