Press Release: Naomi Andrews Announces Candidacy for New Hampshire’s First Congressional District
Epping, NH – Today, Naomi Andrews announced her candidacy for New Hampshire’s First Congressional District.
She released the following statement and video.
“I’m excited to announce that I am running for Congress in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District.
Carol Shea-Porter is retiring, but I believe the people of NH will still want someone in Congress who is from the middle class, knows what it's like, and will work every day for them and their families. I have worked for Carol for more than a decade, and I share her love for people and her determination to fight for the rest of us. As her chief of staff, I worked each day on all of the national and state issues and the challenges that impact our lives in NH, including the opioid crisis, and I can hit the ground running on day one to serve you.
I also know how to win in this tough district, because I ran two of Carol’s winning campaigns. I have the experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to serve the people of this district that I love so much. If you give me the privilege of representing you, you have my pledge that I will work every day to make life better for the rest of us. I’d be honored to have your support as I start this journey on a road I know so well.”
